South Hadley (#293) and Hatfield (#294)
In South Hadley (#293) we walked for miles around the pretty campus of Mount Holyoke College. This school was the original Seven Sister college, and it’s extensive including a botanical garden and hiking trails. Really great walking spot!
We were able to walk the grounds of Black Birch Vineyards, in the town of Hatfield (#294). Located along the east bank of the Connecticut River, Hatfield is a rich agricultural area. The grape varietals are conducive to a cooler climate (think German) and they make a nice Rose, which we enjoyed on their deck.
